Erick Visconde Dominates on Dana White's Contender Series, Puts Himself in Line for a UFC Contract

VISCONDE SHUTS OUT BULAID
Erick Visconde dominated Ilias Bulaid over three rounds in the featherweight featured bout of Dana White's Contender Series Season 10 Week 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Tuesday, winning a shutout unanimous decision with all three judges scoring it 30-27. Visconde repeatedly took the fight to the canvas, working for submissions and controlling the pace against a game but overwhelmed Bulaid.
SUNDELL AND FRANCISCHINELLI ALSO IMPRESS
In the women's bantamweight bout, Smilla Sundell pushed a heavy pace on Aline Pereira for three rounds, mixing clinch work and punishing knees to the midsection en route to a unanimous decision win, with all three judges scoring it 29-28 in her favor.
Luis Francischinelli picked up the night's quickest finish, stopping Will Rentz via TKO just 2 minutes and 18 seconds into the first round.
THE PATH TO A UFC CONTRACT
Dana White's Contender Series exists to fast-track standout regional fighters into the UFC, with White and matchmakers reviewing performances after each card to decide who earns a contract. Visconde's dominant, finish-threatening performance made the clearest case of the night, while Sundell's composure under pressure and Francischinelli's first-round finish both strengthened their own cases heading into the promotion's next round of contract decisions.
