THE MATCH

Pakistan never got going. India's spinners Shree Charani and Prema Rawat took three wickets apiece to bowl Pakistan out for just 55 in 18.1 overs at Dubai International Stadium, the lowest total in the history of women's T20 internationals for Pakistan, one run below the previous record low set at the same ground two years earlier. Harmanpreet Kaur's India chased the target down inside nine overs, finishing at 57 for three, with Harmanpreet unbeaten on 18.

AN UNBEATEN GROUP STAGE

The win completed a perfect group stage for India, who also beat Thailand and Hong Kong, China, to top Group A with six points from three matches. For Harmanpreet, it added another chapter to a fixture she has described as carrying more pressure than any other on the calendar.

"The amount of pressure in an IND vs PAK match, that kind of pressure you don't feel anywhere else," Harmanpreet said ahead of the tournament.

THE ROAD TO THE FINAL

India carried that form through the knockout stage and reached Sunday's final in Dubai, where they face Sri Lanka for the title. A win would extend India's record as the most successful team in Women's Asia Cup history to eight titles.
