UFC Announces Return to Doha for November 21 Fight Night

THE ANNOUNCEMENT
UFC and Visit Qatar confirmed on September 17 that the promotion will return to Doha for a UFC Fight Night card at ABHA Arena on Saturday, November 21. Tickets go on sale October 9, with fans able to register early interest through UFC.com/Qatar ahead of that date.
"When I visited Doha last year, I was blown away by the people, the hospitality, the food, and everything the city has to offer," UFC president and CEO Dana White said. "Our first event there was a huge success. The fans were amazing, the arena was sold out, and the fights delivered. I'm looking forward to putting on another great night for the fans in Qatar."
BUILDING ON A SOLD-OUT DEBUT
The November card follows UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Hooker, held in Doha in November 2025 in UFC's first visit to the country. That event sold out ABHA Arena and delivered a statement main event, with Arman Tsarukyan submitting Dan Hooker to cement himself as a top lightweight contender. Ian Machado Garry also scored a notable win that night, beating Belal Muhammad to continue his rise up the welterweight rankings.
WHY QATAR, WHY NOW
Visit Qatar's chief executive, Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, framed the return as part of a broader push to build out the country's sporting calendar. "Hosting UFC Fight Night in Doha is an important addition to Qatar's growing calendar of world-class sporting events," he said, calling it a chance to further establish Qatar as a destination for major international sport. The deal fits a pattern UFC has leaned into in recent years, signing agreements with governments and private partners around the world to take marquee cards into new markets rather than concentrating them in Las Vegas and a handful of familiar hubs.
WHAT'S NEXT
No fight card has been announced yet for the November 21 event. With tickets opening October 9, matchups are expected to be confirmed in the weeks between now and then, following the same buildup pattern as last year's Tsarukyan-Hooker card.
